For tax year 2024/25, UK self-employed income tax used a £12,570 personal allowance, then 20% basic / 40% higher / 45% additional rates. Class 4 NI was 6% on profits between £12,570 and £50,270 and 2% above. Class 2 NI ceased to be compulsory from 6 April 2024.
